This Privacy Policy explains what information FFA Financial Group LLC ("FFA", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Read it together with our Terms and Conditions and our Communications and Consent Policy.
1. Who we are
FFA Financial Group LLC is an independent insurance agency and marketing organization (IMO) headquartered in Houston, Texas. We work with licensed agents and insurance carriers across the United States. For the purposes of this policy, FFA is the controller of the information collected through this website and its contact channels.
2. What this policy covers
It applies to information we obtain when you visit this website, complete one of our forms, use our calculators, communicate with us by phone, text message, WhatsApp or email, or attend one of our events. It does not apply to the websites of insurance carriers, social networks, or other third parties we link to: each has its own policy.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you give us
- Contact and identification details: name, phone number, email address, state and ZIP code.
- Quoting and advisory details: date of birth, household size, estimated income, immigration or tax status when relevant to a product, tobacco use, health conditions, and any other information you choose to share so an agent can recommend coverage.
- Career interest: if you are interested in working as an agent, the information in your application, your experience, and your licensing status.
- Communications: the content of your messages, calls and forms, and the preferences you tell us about.
3.2 Information we collect automatically
When you browse the site we receive technical data such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, referral source, and the date and time of each action. We use cookies and similar technologies (including Meta pixels and Google tools) to measure the performance of the site and of our advertising. See section 8.
3.3 Information from other sources
We may receive information from the carriers and providers we work with (for example, the status of an application), from identity verification services, or from people who refer you to us.
4. How we use information
We use your information to:
- respond to your requests and connect you with a licensed agent;
- prepare quotes, compare options, and manage applications and policies with carriers;
- contact you by phone, text message, WhatsApp or email, including through automated systems and voice assistants, when you have given us your authorization (see the Communications and Consent Policy);
- evaluate your interest in a career as an agent and support the licensing and contracting process;
- operate, protect and improve the site, our forms and our service;
- measure and improve our advertising;
- meet legal, regulatory and fraud-prevention obligations; and
- send you information about products, events and opportunities we believe are relevant, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
5. Recordings and automated assistants
Calls with our team may be recorded and transcribed for quality, training and compliance purposes. Some follow-up calls are made by an automated voice assistant that identifies itself as such at the beginning of the conversation; you can ask to speak with a person at any time. Transcripts and summaries of these calls are stored in our customer management system so an agent can continue the conversation.
6. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only in these cases:
- Insurance carriers and product providers, to quote, apply for and administer the coverage you request.
- Licensed agents affiliated with FFA, who serve you in your state and language.
- Service providers working on our behalf under confidentiality obligations: customer relationship management (CRM), telephony and messaging, email, web hosting, storage, analytics and advertising, and voice assistant platforms.
- Authorities and third parties when the law requires it, for example in response to a regulatory request, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud.
- A corporate transaction, such as a merger or sale of assets, in which case the information is transferred with the same protections.
Advertising cookies may result in third parties receiving identifiers from your browser. Some state laws treat this as a "sale" or "targeted advertising"; section 9 explains how to opt out.
7. Financial and health information
As an insurance agency, FFA is subject to the privacy rules for financial institutions, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the privacy provisions of the Texas Insurance Code. The financial and health information you give us to quote or apply for a policy is used only for that purpose and is shared only with the carriers, agents and providers needed to serve you, or when the law permits or requires it. We do not use health information for advertising.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We use first-party cookies so the site works (for example, to remember a partially completed form) and third-party cookies and pixels for analytics and advertising (Meta, Google). You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings; some features may stop working. You can also adjust your ad preferences directly with Meta and Google. Our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, but it does honor the preferences you communicate to us under section 9.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on your state of residence (for example, under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and similar laws in other states) you may have the right to:
- confirm whether we process your information and access it;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete the information you gave us;
- obtain a copy in a portable format;
- opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects; and
- appeal if we decline your request.
To exercise them, write to us from the contact page or at the postal address in section 15, stating which right you want to exercise. We will verify your identity using the information we already hold and respond within the time the law requires (generally 45 days). You may authorize another person to submit the request on your behalf. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
In addition, at any time you can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link at the bottom of each message, reply STOP to a text message, or ask us not to call you. Your number may be on the National Do Not Call Registry; we honor that registry except when you yourself have asked us to contact you.
10. Retention
We keep your information for as long as we have a relationship with you or a legitimate interest in serving you, and afterwards for as long as insurance, tax and statute-of-limitations rules require. Call recordings and transcripts are kept only as long as needed for these purposes.
11. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures, such as encryption in transit, permission-based access control, and providers with recognized certifications. No system is infallible; if we detect an incident affecting your information we will notify you as the law requires.
12. Minors
Our services are intended for people 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors; if you believe a minor has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.
13. Third-party links
The site links to carriers, social networks, calculators and other external services. We do not control their practices; review their policies before sharing information with them.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the current version on this page with its effective date; if the change is material, we will communicate it through the means available to us.
